I've finally got off my butt and framed up some of the Gorjuss pictures I've done recently.  I'm quite pleased with how they've turned out, I chose plain white frames as I think it suits the simplicity of the pictures.  Plus they're easier to match in the long term, as there's many more still to go!!

I'm pretty darn pleased with myself, I've finished the project already!  I was a bit concerned about doing the backstitch, as I loathe doing backstitch, but I did most of it last night while watching Lleyton Hewitt beat someone he shouldn't have been able to in the tennis, and then finished it off this morning while watching an episode of Sanctuary ( Read more... )

I've made great strides on my picture this week - it helps that we've got the cricket and tennis going at the moment, and I can quite happily sit for a couple of hours each night and sew with either of them on in the background.  And I can see a couple of late nights this week and next that should finish of the picture nicely ( Read more... )

Well, after starting a brand new picture last week, I spoke to my best friend about catching up for my birthday, and I discovered that I've completely misjudged her due date for the 2nd bub and it's due a month earlier than I was tinking it was!  So I've now got a deadline to finish up my Gorjuss girl, so I can get cracking on the sampler for the ( Read more... )
